26 girls reported missing from an illegally operated Bhopal girls' home

A disturbing revelation unfolds in Bhopal as 26 girls have gone missing from an illegally operated girls' home in the Parvalia police station area. The National Child Commission Chairman, Priyank Kanungo, has written to Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Veera Rana regarding the matter.

The unlicensed girls' home, operated by a private NGO, housed residents from Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and various districts of Madhya Pradesh. Following a surprise visit by Kanungo, irregularities were discovered, leading to the filing of an FIR for running the girls' home without permission.

The Chairman stated that the home was being operated clandestinely, involving the practice of Christianity without proper disclosure, affecting over 40 Hindu girls aged 6 to 18 years.
